Homes and rooms
Restyle a room to match any photo
You have a photo of a room you love and a room of your own that is not it. Upload both; the AI reads the style of one and applies it to the geometry of the other. Your walls stay; the look changes.
What the AI reads from the reference
- A palette: primary, secondary and accent colours
- Materials for floor, walls and ceiling, mapped to presets it can build
- Furniture types and their finishes, in priority order
- Lighting mood: bright day, golden hour, dusk, night
What it keeps
Your room's polygon, doors, windows and dimensions. Furniture that fits the style stays if you ask; otherwise it is replaced with pieces of the same type at real sizes that respect the walkways.
How to do it
- Open your home project and select the room (click it in 3D or in the plan).
- Press “Make it look like a photo” and upload the reference (a listing photo, a magazine page, a screenshot).
- Review the result; say what to keep or change: “keep my sofa”, “lighter floor”, “no rug”.
- Render in HD or 4K for a photoreal image, or walk through it.
Why it beats image-to-image tools
Image tools repaint pixels and lose your room's geometry; a second edit drifts further. Restyling here changes materials and objects in a structured scene, so you can walk through the result, measure it, and keep editing without decay.
Frequently asked
- Can it copy a specific sofa from the photo?
- It matches the type, size, colour and finish; it does not identify brands or copy exact products.
- Does it work on a photo of my own room rather than a plan?
- Yes. A photo gives the geometry of one room; confirm one measurement and it is to scale.
- What does it cost?
- Restyling is a conversational edit and is free; renders cost credits.
